Back for 2026!
A 6.2 mile (10k) trail race with Navigational Route Description starting at the Fox Inn - Ousden…also a 2.3 mile route for walkers.

Entry includes:
Fully written trail instructions
Entry to this UK Athletics licensed event with fully published results
£1 drinks voucher to use in the pub afterwards
Prize for 1st female & male runners (6.2 mile only)

Some key details:
• You can choose a start time from 5:30pm up until 7pm (subject to availibilty). This is a much more relaxed running event. You can run with a group of friends if you like or solo if you enjoy the peace of the countryside!
• You don't need any special navigation/map skills – the route is written on a piece of A4 in large print (this also has your race number and drinks voucher on). The description will include abbreviations (a key explaining these is included at the top of the instructions) to save space.
• 80% of the course is on public trails with the rest on quiet country roads – entrants are encouraged to kindly respect and follow both the Highway and Countryside Codes https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-countryside-code

I agree to abide by the rules of UK Athletics and the event. I understand that I enter the race at my own risk and that no person(s) or organisation(s) will be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss to myself, prior to during or after the event. I understand the organisers reserve the right to delay, postpone, cancel or not officially time the race in the event of adverse weather conditions or other events outside the organisers control and the determination of what constitutes this is reserved solely to Newmarket Joggers AC. All information will be held in accordance to the Data Protection Act and I understand that the details I have provided to enter this race will be entered onto a computer for use by the event, but will not be passed onto a third party. I agree to not wear any audio equipment –iPods, MP3, Headsets or ear plugs during the race and to comply with all instructions given by the event organisers, marshals, First Aid providers and police. The minimum age for entrants is 16 years old on race day. If you can no longer take part race fee is non-refundable but you can transfer your place by emailing the race director up to 24 hours before race start.
